For the first seven months of my dogs life, she sat on my lap or on the front seat next to me. Of course when I stopped hard, I threw my arm accross the seat but sometimes she fell to the ground. I saw a pet car seat and harness and thought why not? The first time we traveled with her in it, she cried for five hours. Finally she quit. Now she will not go unless she is fastened and on her car seat. Like the children today in a car seat, they do not complain about what becomes normal. We feel that our peace of mind is worth the few seconds to secure Coco into her harness and car seat. The pup is now ten and long walks tire her. She wants to go but only so far. The pet stroller is the perfect solution and on a hot day, gives her feet a rest off the hot sidewalk. Having a pet is both fun and work.
